Analogies HE-01
 
      1.       B       INTERVENE   and INTERCEDE are synonyms, just as INTERPOSE and INTRUDE are.

2.       C        A DECADE is ten years, and SCORE is twenty. So, they share a ratio of ONE as to TWO.

3.         C     A PLANT is a neutral word, a FUNGUS has negative connotation. Similarly, a SAILOR is a neutral word, a PIRATE has negative connotation.

4.       A       This is a vertical relationship. IMPEND and LOOM are synonyms, just as CATASTROPHE and DISASTER are.

5.        D    A PHYSICIAN looks after the physical well being of a PATIENT, and ACCOUNT ANT looks after the financial well being of a CLIENT.
