Answers and Explanations

9.       C   In the passage, statements 1 and 4 are clearly mentioned in the seventh paragraph of the passage. The opposite of what is stated in statement 2 is mentioned, statement 3 finds no mention.

10.       C    ILO defines work as working for wages, salary part time, full time and also unpaid work. Statements (a) and (b) are wrong.

11.       A    In the first sentence of the third paragraph, the author has mentioned that there is a link between incidence of child labour and financial development. Statements in choices B is not explicitly mentioned anywhere in the passage and choice C cannot be concluded from information available in the passage.
